Welcome to August 2016 Blog.
This is certainly a time to live in each precious moment; not in your past or your future. Linear time seems to be cruising at a rapid pace… it’s already mid 2016!
We have had another dynamic Full Moon on 19th July. This is a magnificent time for us all… It’s teaching us to continue and keep going with our soul journey, release our fears and most importantly ground ourselves in our precious Earth.
One of the most relevant quotes about the last Full Moon Rising in Capricorn and what I’m personally going through is:
“It’s about becoming a master when surrounded by disaster, that I remain within my centre and NOT as a victim but as a creator”
These words shine forwards for me.
A few events and ‘incidents; the past 6 weeks has taught me to ALWAYS ‘ground’ myself on a daily basis not just when things get ‘stressful’!
As we live in this very fast-paced society; being busy doing and your mind is clogged up with so many thoughts.. “Do this! Respond to that! Freak out about this! Do that!” Loads of demands and events/incidents can become all too encompassing.
I found that I had many of these ‘compartments’ floating around me. I became aware that these are ALL outside of myself. My soul has been crying out.. “Flow Baby Flow!”; “Everything is inside of YOU!”; “Stop Doing and START BEING!” “FLOW BABY FLOW..”
So, when disaster strikes (whatever it is!); the need for you to FEEL and RELEASE HOW YOU ARE FEELING… It’s ok to be angry, hurt, worried, sad, fearful, anxious, suffering, depressed, resentful, revengeful BUT how at peace are you when you stay in these negative feelings.
Negative feelings need to be released; allow yourself to release them… tears to flow, yell out in your home when no one is around; be sad and ‘down’.
Note: do not harm yourself or others in releasing negative feelings.
Write your negative feelings down in a journal. Practice this on a daily basis.
It’s OK TO FEEL!
Listen to the messages presented in your dream state. My dreams have had many messages for me (and others) recently… For me, to stop FEARING other’s anger/resentment and even revenge! Accept myself and LOVE myself has come up strongly during interpretation of my dreams.
Dreams are our soul’s talking to us.. If you get any message/s in your dream state, work with it/them.
Once you have released the negative feelings, you are able to create positive feelings. You are ABLE to Change them NOW! Knowing that I am releasing old energy patterns has been significant for me. It’s what I’m working on at a deeper level for the past few years.
Instead of being the VICTIM; to be the CREATOR and to REMAIN IN MY CENTRE – OR AS I CALL IT – TO GROUND MYSELF. Knowing that I don’t need the ‘drama’ of events and incidents to ensure my life is fulfilled. I have everything I need right now.. inside me!
So, if you are going through an ‘event’; ‘incident’; illness; relationship breakdown or anything that is causing you to become focussed on thoughts buzzing around your mind OR that you are repressing your feelings of these events OR you find yourself DOING Busy-Ness REALLY REALLY well; then check out the following strategies to balance yourself.
TIPS TO GROUND YOURSELF AND BE IN OUR BODIES (NOT JUST OUR MINDS!)
1. Go outside
Head outside with your shoes and socks off and stand on a piece of grass/soil/ground. Practice Deep Breathing! Breathe IN from your diaphragm; Hold for 2 counts then Breathe ALL the way out. Do this a number of times. Ground your feet in nature’s earth and truly feel it’s texture. As you Breathe IN; allow earth’s energy to enter your left foot and send positive healing energy throughout your body and especially fill your heart space with this positive energy.
As you breathe OUT; send any negative feelings, repressed feelings, any blocked emotions to the earth via your right foot. Continue this cycle of releasing negative feelings and bringing in positive and healing energy.
2. Be in Nature
Be in any form of nature – beach, river, park, forest, waterfall. Place both feet on the ground and deep breathe. Deep Breathe in for 3 counts; hold for 2 counts then Breathe Out for 3 counts. Do this 5-10 times.
3. Hug a Tree
Yes, I did say that! Trees are a natural energy source and when you touch a tree allow ALL the healing and positive energy of the tree to ‘fill you up” Deep Breathe as per above.
4. White Light
This is my favourite strategy! Either sit or lay down.
In your mind’s eye, imagine a beam of WHITE LIGHT from your heart space connect below you from a White Crystal Cave. This white light is pure and it comes from a cave from our mother Earth full of purest white healing crystals. You are able to picture your own cave and how big it is; as big as the universe and the type of crystals it has in there.
A beam of WHITE LIGHT is connecting to your heart space from this magnificent Mother Earth Crystal Cave. Deep Breathe IN, and allow the light to fill your heart space and as you Deep Breathe OUT you release ALL the negative feelings that are stored in your body… release the sadness, the fear, the anxiety, the anger, the resentment and the revenge.. Release it all… let them all go to the Crystal Cave Below. Take another Breathe IN – Allow the pure white light beam connect to your heart space and then spread to all other parts of your body… Your head, your chest, your stomach region, your legs and your feet. NOW take a Deep Breathe OUT and release any negative feelings that seems to be lingering in your cells and body… Let them Go! Release them to your Crystal Cave… Take another Deep Breathe IN and allow that strong, positive white beam of light into your heart space and your body. Feel this source of light within you. This is your soul and your spirit. It is within you NOW and at all times.
Practicing Grounding Strategies on a Daily Basis is vital. I’m learning it’s not when our bodies and minds are in ‘breakdown mode’ and stressed out to the max that we need to ‘ground ourselves’; it’s learning to find 5-10 minutes per day to Balance ourselves; FEEL our feelings; release the negative feelings and FILL our hearts with pure LOVE. Acknowledge, that we all have our source of light within us at all times and to connect with our source!
